Halloween!

Halloween!

As Halloween is today we decided to make some pumpkins, spiders and ghosts. We also talked about why we celebrate Halloween.

To Keep Halloween safe, go out with your children when they are trick or treating and don’t let them go door to door in unfamiliar neighborhoods. Tell them to accept only wrapped candy, and don’t let them eat any treats until you’ve examined them for tampering.

Happy Half Term!

Happy Half Term!

Dear Parents,

I would like to say a huge well done to all of the Year 1 children for settling into Year 1 so well. They have become a lot more independent already and are making me proud. Keep it up everyone!

I wish you a pleasant and relaxing half term break! Remember school reopens on Monday 30th October.

Best Regards,
Miss Jerath

Our Trip to the Zoo!

Our Trip to the Zoo!

Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Belgrade Zoo. This trip was part of our Science topic ‘Animals Including Humans’, in which we learn about the parts of the body, the differences between humans and animals and different types of animals.

Everyone had a fantastic time and we saw lots of interesting species, including the white kangaroo and the white lions. Our favourite animals were the zebras, the elephant, the seal and the white tigers!
